About FindSong

FindSong is an independent, browser-based music identification and discovery tool. It exists for two moments every music listener knows: remembering words from a song without knowing its name, and loving a song enough to want twenty more like it.

What the tools do

The lyrics engine takes whatever you remember — a full line, a partial fragment, or a few scattered keywords — and returns up to five candidate songs with title, artist, the matched line and a confidence score, plus one-tap links to Spotify, YouTube and Apple Music. The similarity engine takes any song as a seed and returns twenty similar tracks drawn from real listener behavior, each with a match score and a short reason.

Everything runs in the browser. There is no account, no app install, and no payment. The site is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Korean.

How we treat your input

Searches are processed to answer the request and are not stored. We do not maintain user profiles, and analytics — when enabled — records only event counts and coarse metadata such as query length, never the words you type. See the privacy policy for details.
